Hakeem Lapointe The first track, Buggane, is reminiscent in its sampling choices to some of sd laika's beloved That's Harakiri, and captivates. Junctions pulls the rug from under our feet with its following track Susurrus, providing us with a new sound palette that is kept from wearing itself out by a fresh intervention halfway through. Wight, in a likeminded manner, surprises the listener with slow creeping, phasing keys before a noise closing note. Valiant effort for Nivalis's second release Favorite track: Buggane.

The Buggane, finding itself at a junction and angered by what it found, ripped its own head off tossing it at a church, only to land amongst bushes and shrubs, where it settled in an effort to find rest and reconstitution.
